Moor

Privacy Policy

Moor doesn't collect your data. Your sessions are stored on your iPhone and never sent to us or anyone else.

The short version

What Moor stores, and where

When you start a session, Moor saves its label, start and end times, check-in interval, and how you answered each check-in. This is kept in an on-device storage area that the Moor app shares only with its own Lock Screen Live Activity, so both can show the same session. It also remembers small preferences, such as whether you've seen the introduction.

None of this leaves your device. It may be included in your iPhone's own iCloud or computer backup if you have backups turned on; that is handled by Apple under your Apple account, not by us.

Notifications and the Live Activity

Check-in reminders are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone by iOS. No push server is involved. The Live Activity on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island is drawn on-device from the same local data. Tapping "Still on it" or "Stop" updates that local data and nothing else.

Purchases

Moor may offer optional in-app purchases (Moor+). These are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We never see your name, email address, or payment details. The app asks StoreKit on your device whether you own Moor+; it doesn't keep its own record and doesn't use a purchase-tracking service. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

Data we do not collect

Moor does not collect your name, email address, contacts, location, photos, health data, browsing activity, device identifiers, or usage statistics.

Deleting your data

Because everything lives on your device, you're always in control. Deleting the Moor app removes all of its stored data from your iPhone.

Children

Moor does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above. Moor has no way to contact you directly, so please check here for the current version.
