Terms of Use
These terms cover your use of the Moor app and this website. By using Moor, you agree to them.
License
Moor is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard Apple EULA), which applies in addition to these terms. Your use of the App Store is governed by Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, redistribute, or resell the app.
Moor+
Moor is free to download and use. Moor+ is an optional upgrade, where offered, available as a weekly or annual auto-renewing subscription or as a one-time lifetime purchase.
- Price. The price of each option is shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency, and may vary by region.
- Payment. Payment is charged to your Apple account when you confirm the purchase.
- Auto-renewal. Weekly and annual subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Cancelling. You can manage or cancel a subscription in iPhone Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Moor+ until the current period ends. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Lifetime. The lifetime purchase is a single payment that does not renew. It stays tied to your Apple account and can be restored with "Restore purchases".
- Refunds. Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple. We can't issue refunds directly; you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Changes. Price or feature changes apply to future renewals. Apple will ask for your consent to a price increase where required, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
If a subscription ends, Moor keeps working as the free app. Your sessions stay on your device.
Your content
The labels and sessions you create are yours. They stay on your iPhone, and we never receive or have access to them. Keep your own device backups if you want to preserve them.
What Moor is, and isn't
Moor is a stopwatch with reminders. Check-ins depend on iOS delivering notifications and Live Activities, which can be delayed or suppressed by Focus modes, Low Power Mode, notification settings, or system limits on how long a Live Activity runs. Don't rely on Moor for anything where a missed or late reminder could cause harm.
No warranty
Moor is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moor and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Changes take effect when posted here, and the date above will change. Continuing to use Moor after a change means you accept the updated terms.
